Eric stumbled across this charity and sent a link to the rest of the quartet saying "neat charity!". Matt, as he is inclined to do, took it a step further and contacted Green Beans Coffee and learned all about the company. Green Beans Coffee is a for-profit company in California who, at this point, has coffee houses only on military bases at home and abroad. They were the first US business in Afghanistan. They have instituted this plan for folks back home to buy a cup of coffee for a soldier serving far from home and send them a note of encouragement along with it. Average Joes is squarely behind this project and we encourage you to support it as well. We get nothing from anyone for this, save for the satisfaction of helping out "over there".
