to Improvement and Recording

Average Joes has come up with our game plan for 2012. We're excited to have begun work on a recording with the help of dear friends Houston Galloway and Steve Tramack. We hope to have the recording ready for the Autumn show season and the District Convention. Watch for a pre-order form in the near future!

We are also quite intent on singing around the District with and for you in all kinds of performance settings. We've vowed to be an active and available Champion for you to the best of our abilities.

With all of that going on and two young families and a wedding on the horizon, something had to give. We have decided to not participate in the International Preliminaries this year because it would be difficult to fit preparation for the International Contest into an already chock full year, should we be fortunate enough to qualify.

Once our Championship Year has concluded and our recording is finished, we'll return to competing with an eye toward the prelims and the International Contest in Toronto.

Joes Crowned Champions!

Average Joes spent an amazing weekend at the Northeastern District's Annual Fall Convention and Contest on October 21-23 and was fortunate enough to have been named 2011 Northeastern District Quartet Champions.

There were numerous quartets competing from all over New England, the Maritime and Quebec Provinces in Canada and Eastern New York State. We were fortunate to have won to be sure, edging out our nearest competition by the narrowest of margins

We thank all of our supporters across the District and above all, thank our families for supporting us as we work to perform and perfect our craft.

Preparing for The Autumn Show Season

We have some great performance opportunities coming up in the autumn of this year, not the least of which is at the Northeastern District District Convention and Contest. We've prepared some great new music for the season and look very much forward to sharing it all with you.
